2006-11-21 - La Paz, Bolivia - Computer shipment

Okay, this is a bit unusual in that I have pictures that have to do with work; but here they are.

I received a shipment of over 200 computers from the World Computer Exchange in the States on a 20 foot container.

Luckily, they gave in and gave me permission to take pictures of the computers to prove the state in which they arrived. As you can see, there is no packaging material; computers are stacked on computers, monitors on monitors, etc.

The result ended up that much of the computers did not work, we did not get what we ordered and the recipients were furious. Because I was coordinating the shipment on our end in Bolivia, I have to initiate solutions for these problems.

...and I don't even get paid for it! You, however, can help by donating to my non profit, GAT, at
